Sara-Vide Ericson, Hälsinglands Museum, Hudiksvall, Sweden

Från pressrelease (In Swedish only):

Den kritikerhyllade utställningen Interior ambush är ett samarbete mellan Galleri Magnus Karlsson, Kalmar konstmuseum och Hälsinglands museum. Sara-Vide Ericson har rötterna i Hälsingland och hennes konstnärskap erövrar nu nationellt en allt starkare ställning, både bland kritiker och publik. Hennes bildkonst har en tung, gestaltande kroppslighet av den synliga verkligheten, en kraftfull materialism som också har drag av uråldrighet och myt.

Anna Bjerger, Gl. Holtegaard, Holte, Denmark

From press release:
With energetic brushstrokes and slow-paced precision Swedish artist Anna Bjerger conjures up a familiar and sensory visual universe harbouring undertones of longing and loneliness in her largest solo exhibition in Denmark to date at Gammel Holtegaard Art Centre.
A woman’s inscrutable gaze, a nonchalant hand holding a lit cigarette, a landscape of dark, wandering figures, a cucumber plant. The figurative motifs of Swedish artist Anna Bjerger are apparently simple yet enigmatic. Her paintings are supremely mastered, low-key, and intensely sensual.

Lars Arrhenius 1966–2020

It is with great sadness that we have to announce that our artist and friend Lars Arrhenius has passed away. We did our first collaboration in 1998 when Lars had just returned to Stockholm after finishing his studies in Amsterdam.

His first exhibition presented paintings, but his multifaceted artistry took new directions toward the digital and contemporary world. He was a curious and playful person, always open to new techniques and interfaces to reach the public with his ideas.
