Lisa Jonasson

New works

22.6 - 14.7, Galleri Mårtensson&Persson, Båstad, Sweden

From press release:

Galleri Mårtensson&Persson is pleased to present 3 solo exhibitions;
Jacob Dahlgren, paintings on MDF - Ann Eringstam, photo - Lisa Jonasson, collage of paper scraps.

After 2 years of waiting we can finally introduce Jacob Dahlgren with his 2nd solo exhibition.
Jacob Dahlgren is today established outside of Sweden with several projects in different locations in Europe, most recently with the decoration "Work as Method" on Chamber of Labour in Vienna, Austria.
Jacob Dahlgren presents a series of paintings on mdf, based on a "ready-made" concept, which is based
on using something figuratively to produce abstract geometric paintings. The result is as always with Jacob Dahlgren - surprisingly for our minds and with its own fascinating aesthetics.

Ann Eringstam will show a continuation of the suite "In search of Wonderland."
In January, earlier this year, Ann Eringstam had her first solo exhibition in our gallery in Stockholm where her pictures were very well received.
With inspiration from the Caspar David Friedrich and his romantic approach to image composition, where people often consider nature to turn away from us, Ann Eringstam creates her own contemporary, romantic, surreal expression with the photo as her brush in the environments, in particular from Iceland's rugged lava landscape of the Azores lavish green landscape.

Lisa Jonasson is one of our most requested artists, who recently finished work at Grafikens Hus Mariefred with series of new prints that will be included in the exhibition.
Our 3rd solo exhibition by Lisa Jonasson will not make anyone disappointed - quite the opposite!
For a year now Lisa Jonasson paints the paper she uses for her collages herself to have full control of the different color meetings in their works.
Her fantastic surreal world meets no equal in the art world today.
Everything happens - the impossible opportunity presents itself.
