Bella Rune et.al, EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art, Espoo, Finland

From press release:

Textile holds emotions and stories. The works of the exhibition’s 12 artists approach textile through creative exploration, technical mastery and a bold new approach to materials. They create a diverse outlook on the possibilities of textile in the interface between contemporary art and design, with the exhibition placing a new frame on textile’s ancient role as a bearer of stories, information and culture.

The exhibition is opened by Maarit Salolainen, Professor for Textile Design, Aalto University.

Hans Lannér, Paintings, Le Manoir, Banyuls-sur-Mer

This summer we will present the second exhibition at the gallery’s co-owned hotel Le Manoir in Banyuls-sur-Mer. This little gem is located in French Catalonia where the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean Sea. Works by our gallery artists are shown in the public areas and bedrooms throughout the hotel. In a solo presentation, Hans Lannér will present new paintings in the hotel’s dining room, library and bar. The exhibition is a way to further connect with the local audience and explore potential regional collaborations.
