The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) is opening its doors to a selection of artworks from the remarkable art collection of Ontario philanthropist, collector and patron W. Bruce C. Bailey. The exhibition “For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you” brings together a selection of over 100 paintings, photographs, works on paper, and sculptures spanning vastly different time periods and cultures, drawn from his extraordinary collection.

Explorations showcases the collection of more than 500 works of art donated to the Turku Art Museum by doctor of medicine and surgery Lars Göran Johnsson (b. 1930, Tampere). Divided into thematic sections that express the character of the collection, the exceptionally large exhibition fills both floors of the museum and features modernist classics and top names of contemporary art.

Vi rör oss konstant mellan den virtuella och den köttkroppsliga världen och utför dagligen arbeten genom vår interaktion med maskiner och skärmar. Utställningsåret på Passagen inleds med Maria Nordins utställning Encounters! Utställningen invigs på Passagen den 16/1 kl. 17.00 av konsthallschef Lars-Ove Östensson.

Maria Nordin (f 1980) kommer ursprungligen från Linköping, men lever och verkar idag i Stockholm. Hon arbetar i huvudsak med akvarellmåleri och har utmärkt sig genom sina oerhört realistiska motiv.

In Greenland, nature plays a special role, both as our home, our pantry and as the place where many find their peace. That's why Nuuk Art Museum has worked to get the exhibition NATURE // Home & Workplace for Nuuk. The exhibition is made up of artists who in small and huge large paintings, sculptures and installations revolve around nature. There are 12 artists from the Nordic countries, including Inuk Silis Høegh from Nuuk.
