Mette Björnberg receives Art Prize 2015

The Ann Wolff Foundation

We are delighted to announce that The Art Prize 2015 of the Ann Wolff Foundation is rewarded to Mette Björnberg!

From press release:
The Ann Wolff Foundation was established as a non-profit-foundation in Berlin, Germany, in 2008.

A donation of works by Ann Wolff formes the basis of the foundation. The main goal is to promote art and culture with a focus on glass. Another, not less valuable, aspect is to enable contemporary artists to experiment with the versatile nature of glass for their first time and to incorporate it into their work. This is done by an art prize.

AWFs board of directors and board of advisers of decided to give the art prize for 2015 to Mette Björnberg.

Material and concept in Mettes work are showing an outstanding fine quality and we are curiously looking forward to see her confrontation with the material glass.
