I Hjärnstorm nummer 162–163, ”Sympati för Djävulen”, fokuserar vi på hans roll som rebell, drivkraft och ljusbringare och vi belyser hans betydelse inom litteratur och konst, politik och filosofi, film och musik, religion och psykologi, myter och sägner.
Release för numret hålls på Konstnärshuset, Smålandsgatan 7 i Stockholm, torsdagen den 19 februari klockan 18.00.
Kvällen inleds med en riktad öppningsritual – ceremonimästare är dansaren Camilla Sivam från performanceduon Dos Oké, här deltar hon med poeten Johan Christiansson Drake på trumma. Vi har också bjudit in författaren, förläggaren och filmaren Carl Abrahamsson som kommer att läsa sin text ur det aktuella numret, ett brev till Satan, och berätta om sin relation till honom under åren.
Dj för releasen är fotografen och musikern Jenny Farida Thåström som ärar kvällens protagonist genom att spela antagonistisk djävulsmusik.
Det blir vin, snacks och mingel och alla gäster får gärna ta med sig en offergåva till Legba, den ande som öppningsritualen riktar sig till.
