”Utställningen Allt kött är hö består av en serie skulpturer i dialog med Hedvig Eleonoras kyrkorum. Verk av tråd och trä, i lätt balans, tillfällig spänning och jordbunden tyngd förstärker de det förgängliga och tillfälliga i upplevelsen av att vara människa. Materialitet förskjuts och förändras i en tillvaro präglad av det digitala.
Vad är tung och lätt? Vad är en kropp? Hur ser förgänglighet ut idag?
Trots att skulpturerna är analoga och materiellt påtagliga, ställer de frågor om vår perception och hur vi kategoriserar och sorterar världen där vi är både immateriella och dödliga. Skulpturerna är mer aktivitet än objekt, de fungerar som en förstärkare av den situation där de ingår, men där också människor på platsen, rummets arkitektur och minne spelar roll. Skulpturerna vill vara ett mentalt klister eller plåster som gör något med relationen mellan kropp och arkitektur, mellan historia och samtid, mellan modernism och tradition och agerar någonstans mellan vävstol och väv. Tråden är på ett sätt en av världens ur-teknologier, som när vi knäckte den koden skapade oändliga möjligheter inom alla delar av livet. Tråden har sett likadan ut (förmodligen sedan neadertalarna) och den är genial, en annan styrka än betong och brons, den bryts inte utan studsar elastiskt tillbaka och håller ihop världen med sin spänningsstyrka, som bildar både väv och bro.”

The exhibition Allt kött är hö (All Flesh is Hay) consists of a series of sculptures in dialogue with the interior of Hedvig Eleonora Church. Works of wire and wood, in delicate balance, temporary tension and earthbound heaviness, reinforce the transience and impermanence of the human experience. Materiality is shifted and transformed in an existence characterised by the digital.
What is heavy and light? What is a body? What does transience look like today?
Although the sculptures are analogue and materially tangible, they raise questions about our perception and how we categorise and sort the world in which we are both immaterial and mortal. The sculptures are more activity than objects; they serve to reinforce the situation in which they are included, but where people in the place, the architecture of the room and memory also play a role. The sculptures aim to be a mental adhesive or plaster that does something with the relationship between body and architecture, between history and the present, between modernism and tradition, acting somewhere between the loom and the weave. In a way, thread is one of the world's original technologies, which, when we cracked its code, created endless possibilities in all areas of life. The thread has looked the same (probably since Neanderthal times) and it is ingenious, stronger than concrete and bronze, it does not break but bounces back elastically and holds the world together with its tensile strength, forming both fabric and bridges.”
