We met Klara Kristalova in her studio near Stockholm, where she introduced us to the works she will present at the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia alongside Benjamin Orlow and Tori Wrånes for the Nordic Countries Pavilion.
Titled “How Many Angels Can Dance on the Head of a Pin?”, the exhibition will transform the Pavilion into a mythical landscape that evokes cycles of decay, renewal, and transformation.
Through hybrid works that merge plant, animal, and human forms, the artists draw on the language of myth as a universal point of reference to explore these cycles, as well as the deep interconnectedness of all things.
