From Press Realese:
Klara Kristalova & Peter Ern
From May 1st until August 1st, 2012, artist, painter, theatre and television producer Kamagurka acts as curator for a special art project in Bruges: Kamarama. On several locations he will display his own works as well as works of other artists who inspire and fascinate him. It is an exhibition full of remarkable art, surprising perspectives and a certain amount of humour.
Music speaks directly to our emotions. Hearing a song can take us back in time. We copy the dress of our idols, our mood changes with music. Thank You for the Music – How Music Moves Us is an exhibition on how the experiences of listening to music, watching music videos or going to a concert can appear in the life and work of an artist, a music lover, a fan.
Galleri Magnus Karlsson is pleased to present Thomas Broomé’s third solo exhibition in the gallery. The exhibition The Guest displays new paintings, sculptures and a light installation. It is also the premiere screening of Broomé's video Wanderer. This work was specifically conceived for, and shot at, Ingmar Bergman’s estate Hammars on the island of Fårö, Sweden.
