Ulf Lundin was born in Alingsås in 1965, and lives and works in Stockholm. He was educated at the School of Photography and Film in Gothenburg, 1990—1997. Urban Video Art Festival, Gjilan, Kosovo (2019); VAFT (Video Art Festival Turku), Finland (2018); Framing Bodies, Hasselblad Center, Gothenburg (2015); Paparazzi!, Centre Pompidou, Metz, France (2014); Cut Off My Legs and Call Me Shorty, Tensta Art Gallery (2009); Floating Moments, Ystad Art Gallery (2009). His films have been shown at festivals worldwide and his works feature in the collections of Moderna Museet, Stockholm; Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, Helsinki; Hasselblad Center, Gothenburg; Västerås Art Gallery; Public Art Agency Sweden and in the collections of many Swedish municipalities and regions. He has been awarded the Norrköping Museum of Work Prize for Documentary Photography, 2017 and the City of Stockholm Lennart af Petersens Prize, 2015. His book Monumentet was nominated for the Swedish Photo Book Prize 2019.
